Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
In short: this website collects no personal information. It has no accounts, no forms, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies, and it loads nothing from other companies.
Who we are
This website is run by Lowkey Studios, an independent game studio based in Québec, Canada. This policy explains what happens to information about you when you visit the site or write to us.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you. The pages, fonts, images and scripts all come from this site itself, so visiting it doesn't tell any other company that you were here.
What is stored on your device
One preference, and only if you choose it. When you press Pause motion or Play motion on the home page, your browser remembers your choice in its local storage, so the animation stays the way you left it. That choice stays on your device, is never sent to us, and you can erase it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. The cookies page has the details.
Server logs
Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting service, which may automatically record technical information about each request (IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We don't use these records to identify anyone. Hosting service: Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Pages).
When you email us
If you write to contact@lowkeystudios.ca, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and your message. We use them only to answer you, and we keep them only as long as the conversation needs. Our mailbox is provided by Google (Gmail), which processes messages under its own privacy policy and may store them outside Québec.
Links to other sites
Our social media links, and the Steam page once it opens, take you to other companies' websites. Those sites set their own cookies and follow their own privacy policies, which we don't control.
Your rights
Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you (in practice, only emails you sent us), ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Person in charge
The person in charge of the protection of personal information at Lowkey Studios is the studio's founder.
